        Tax Appraisal Appeal

         

        A Tax Assessment Study is a legal tax avoidance measure for REITs and building owners. Many local cities, counties, and municpalities allow building owners to appeal the county tax assessment. A "tax appraisal assessment," "tax appeal assessment," and "tax appeal process" are common names for this investigative investment service.

         

        Many states and counties have an appeal process for commercial appraisal values, like this one in Montgomery County, Alabama. Often, building owners have only thirty (30) days to appeal. By way of reminder, this is not service subject to licensing and regulation, being neither a commercial inspection, nor an engineering or architectural service, nor a commercial appraisal.
